I flinched as a loud noise sounded."d**n..." I hissed through gritted teeth. I could smell a familiar scent, but I knew it couldn't be him. He would've broken down the door. I got up and signaled for Jarod to stay, I didn't want him to get hurt.

I glared at Jarod for a minute before submitting to his stubborness. Suddenly a yell sounded and I groaned. It was Skorpio. My brother. I turned to Jarod with a concerned gaze."Jarod please stay here, please." I begged.

Skorpio roared in fury and threatened to kick down the door and kill the 'mutt' if I didn't come out. I flinched and took Jarod's wrists."It's Skorpio, my brother. I'll be back." And before he could answer I flitted out the door.

Jarod stood open mouthed as she left. Realsising, he shut it and chewed his lip. After a moment, he began to pace up and down the room.
However this did not last long. He gave up on the pacing, and headed towards the front door.

A thud sounded against the wall, followed by a deep snarl. I lunged at Skorpio and knocked him away. He grinned venemously and punched my face. I felt the skin beneath my eye split. Anger made me blind to the pain. I rushed him, ramming him in the stomach. He stumbled back and stared at me.'Well," He said, approval in his voice."I see you have not forgotten what I have taught you." With that he was gone.

Jarod arrived at the door just in time to see Kain get punched, and then ram him back. However, when Skorpio left, there was no way Jarod could see where he went, he'd disappeared too fast. He rushed over to Kain. "Are you okay?" he asked. His voice was full of concern.
